CAPTAIN'S KEPI.
Dark sky blue cloth band (H 2.7 cm), vermillion cloth cap (front height 4 cm), flat silver braid trim, three horizontal cords sewn above the band forming the rank of captain, two vertical cords sewn at the front, back, and on each side of the cap. Crown bordered with braid and decorated in the center with two flat silver cords forming a Hungarian knot. False silver braid chin strap, silver-plated brass bell buttons. Square-shaped visor in black polished leather, green waxed underneath, bordered with a folded leather rim over the outer edge. Interior cap in orange silk, black waxed leather band bordered with hot stamped gold fringe.

LT. DOLMAN.
Dark sky blue cloth bordered with a 2 cm wide black goat hair braid woven in chevrons, edges of the dolman trimmed with a wavy black braid. Jonquille cloth collar trimmed with a black goat hair braid (H 1.5 cm), black velvet lining, total height of the collar 2.5 cm. Dolman buttoning straight at the front with six uniform buttons. The front part of the dolman is adorned on each side with six wide black goat hair flat braids (brandenburgs), each embellished with three smooth and half-smooth silver-plated brass uniform buttons embossed with the number "4". Richly decorated back of the dolman with black goat hair piping and two braids on the seams, framed by wavy black braid trims (identical to the front). Sleeves with dark sky blue cloth facings bordered with a chevron-woven black goat hair braid forming a 2 cm wide point and two silver braids forming Hungarian knots indicating the rank of lieutenant. White canvas sleeve lining, black striped white canvas at the wrist level. Ivory canvas interior lining of the dolman, lower part lined with a 7 cm high ivory calf band.

OFFICER'S VEST.
Dark sky blue cloth, buttoning straight at the front with twelve silvered metal bell buttons. A horizontal chest pocket on the left, and a horizontal lower pocket on each side. Black canvas back with a black canvas martingale with brass buckle. Ivory canvas lining.

OFFICER'S CARTRIDGE BOX.
Field campaign cartridge box of the 2nd Regiment of Chasseurs à Cheval, 1850 model.
Black polished leather frame, H 7 cm x width at the top 14.5 cm x width at the bottom 12.5 cm, sides in 2.4 cm wide gilded brass.
Black polished leather flap decorated with the uncrowned imperial eagle in gilded brass, bordered by a brass rim. H 9 cm x width at the top 15.3 cm x width at the bottom 16 cm.
Bordeaux waxed calf cover for the cartridge box.
Bandolier composed of a Bordeaux waxed calf cover with 15 silvered metal half-bell buttons stamped with the number "2".

Kepi in good condition, usual oxidation of trims, beginning of a cut on the chinstrap, replaced interior silk.
Dolman in good condition, with some small repairs and moth holes.
Vest in good condition, with some scuffs and moth holes.
