Citizen Joseph Pasquiet, a lieutenant in the aforementioned regiment and over fifty years old, is no longer able to carry out active cavalry service.
Louis Bonaparte requests the Minister of War for his placement with the Veterans:
"Citizen Pasquiet, Lieutenant in the Regiment under my command, over fifty years old and with over twenty-five years of service, can no longer perform active cavalry service. I request a Lieutenant position for him among the Veterans. There are currently several vacant positions. His service records have been deposited at the War Office for a long time. Regards and Respect."
