OFFICER'S SABER OF THE DUTCH NAVY ADMINISTRATIVE CORPS, Second half of the 19th century. 32650
Silver-plated brass hilt. Guard with two branches forming a pierced shell with an anchor entwined topped by the royal crown and a floral motif. Cap with a long tail decorated with flags and scales. Handle made of bone. Ferrule decorated with lines. Curved blade, flat, with a ridged back, length 75.5 cm, engraved on one side at the base "P. Mansvelt & Zoon te 's Hage".
Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Second half of the 19th century.
Fair condition, accidents and losses on the handle, oxidized blade, missing cap cover, no scabbard.
