Gilt bronze hilt. Guard with three branches forming a pierced shell with naval anchor and floral decoration. Quillon decorated with foliage. Perforated counter-guard with scallop shell and volutes. Pommel with long tail decorated with a scallop shell. Horn filigree grip. Ferrule decorated with lines. Slightly curved almost straight white blade, back with grooves, in the style of blades for the Chasseurs de Vincennes sabers, length 77 cm; signed on the back "Coulaux Frères a Klingenthal".
