Burgundy leather cartridge box, 5.5 cm wide, covered with silver galloon with four Bordeaux silk stripes and five fittings in silver-plated and gold-plated brass: silver buckle and shield with applied golden spider web half-toiles, a silver octagonal medallion with a golden lion's head, a silver escutcheon with framing border and central motif of the imperial eagle both applied and gilded, double chain fastener.
Wooden case covered in calfskin and black velvet with brass sides. Height 7.5 cm, width 15.7 cm, thickness 3 cm.
Bordeaux waxed calfskin shoulder strap, cut at the bottom in a bracket shape, framed with a brass strip and in the center a cast and gilded bronze motif representing an imperial eagle with wings outstretched holding Jupiter's thunderbolt in its claws surrounded by a laurel wreath. Shoulder strap height 10.5 cm, upper part width 15.4 cm, lower part width 16 cm.

Good condition, some wear and rubbing, the rear of the shoulder strap relined with black velvet at a later date which prevents verification of the attachment points of the central motif of the shoulder strap.
