SQUADRON LEADER'S DOLMAN FROM THE 6th HUSSARS REGIMENT, model 1852, Second Empire. 33767
In dark green wool, braids and black woolen lace, collar in dark green wool and lined with black velvet, scarlet cuffs. Front closure with eighteen braids each adorned with three gilt brass buttons (a bell button in the center and a half-bell button at each end). Each sleeve is embellished with four gold braids indicating the rank. Back seams covered with three black wool lace. Inner lining in fine ivory canvas with a wide strip of ochre calfskin at the bottom.

Second Empire.
Fair condition, moth holes and repairs, rank laces resewn, inner lining in poor condition.
