TRUMPET BANNER OF THE 3rd REGIMENT OF HUSSARS, Second Empire. 33772
In silver-grey cloth, fringed with white wool and bordered by two white wool soutaches (width 3 mm), the soutache forms Hungarian knots in the two upper corners and in the center at the bottom of the banner. Both sides are similarly embroidered in white wool with an imperial eagle (H 14 cm x 13 cm) topped by a crown (H 3.3 cm x 4.2 cm). The upper part of the banner folds over itself and is attached by three metal clasps to loops of thread. Dimensions of the banner without the fringes: width at bottom 30.5 cm, width at top 22.5 cm, H 37.6 cm. Fringe length 6.5 cm.
