Polished brass hilt. Three-branch guard forming a shell at the front with palmettes. Quillon, short pommel, and wooden handle entirely filigreed with brass. Wool knot. Straight blade, flat, and with a back measuring 93 cm long, marked at the heel with the revolutionary hallmark of the fasces of lictors. Blackened leather scabbard with three brass fittings with scalloped edges, brass loops, and steel carrying rings. Iron blade tip.
