OFFICER'S INFANTRY SWORD, model 1845, July Monarchy. 29619
Gilt bronze hilt with a guard featuring two openwork branches of foliage and laurel leaves. Short-tailed pommel. Horn grip with brass wire. Scarlet cloth strap. Slightly curved blade with hollow edges, 74 cm long, signed on the back "Manufre Rle de Châtellerault 7bre 1847." Black varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings, two suspension rings, and a brass tip with a steel chape.

Good condition, sword and blade in very good condition, replaced wire posthumously.
