Brass hilt. Three-branch guard, main branch marked "582", illegible manufacturer stamps. Short-tailed pommel. Handle made of black waxed cowhide-covered wood, brass filigree. Natural leather knot. Curved blade with hollow edges, 92 cm long, signed on the back "Mre d'armes de Châtt July 1876 Cavrie Lre mle 1822". Nickel-plated steel scabbard with a belt loop bracelet marked similarly to the main branch "582", lyre-shaped cutout tip.
