Brass hilt. Guard with a smooth branch. Bifurcated clamshell guard embossed with the arms of France framed by two branches of lilies. Fixed counter-guard. Round pommel decorated with a relief of a flaming bomb. Grip and ferrules in one piece imitating a filigree grip entirely. Natural leather knot. Blade with grooves, engraved on its first third with a gold background "LONG LIVE THE KING" on one side, and on the other side with floral motifs and three fleur-de-lis, all on a blued background. Blade length 80 cm. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings, chape with button for belt carrying, scabbard tip with brass tip.

Sword in good condition, gilding and bluing on the blade are later additions, scabbard in fairly good condition, leather showing signs of wear.
