Gilt brass hilt. Guard with branch decorated with foliage. Two-shell hilt relief-moulded with a lyre with oak and laurel branches. Fixed counter-guard. Round pommel, decorated ferrules with lines. Ebony handle with brass filigree. Central-edged blade, length 81.5 cm. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings, pre-1884 model, scabbard tip with brass chape.
