INFANTRY GRENADE CARRIAGE STRAP, First half of the 19th century. 33643
Whitened buffalo leather strap, width 11 cm, cut on the bias at the bottom; the two parts are connected by a brass ring, Ø 5 cm, with the ring passing through two tabs attached to the bottom of the strap. Whitened buffalo leather suspension tab for the drum, H 20.5 cm, attached to the ring.
Length of the fully extended strap 105 cm.
A rectangular brass bayonet holder with cut corners, H 9 cm x 8.3 cm, is attached to the front part of the strap.
Pair of wooden bayonets with brass fittings. Length of the bayonets 40.7 cm.
