GIBERNE REGIMENT OF CUIRASSIERS OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, model 1854, Second Empire. 27048-5
Buff leather bandolier, 6.5 cm wide, stitched along the edges, with brass fittings consisting of a rectangular buckle, a bar, and a fleur-de-lis.
Black varnished leather box, 15 cm wide, 8 cm high, 4 cm deep. Side flanks in leather adorned with brass suspension attachments. Black varnished leather strap, width at the bottom 18 cm, width at the top 17.5 cm, 9.5 cm high, framed by a brass border and decorated in the center with a cut and stamped brass plate of the great imperial arms on a radiant sun background, plate height 7 cm x 12.5 cm; it is stamped with "GODILLOT / PARIS", dated 1867 "67", from the 1st regiment "1" and registered as "125".
