CAPTAIN'S CAPTAIN'S DRAGONNE OF THE KING'S BODYGUARD, Restoration. 32523
Dragon in silver trim. Flat cord, 2.5 cm wide, woven in the design of the King's Bodyguard braid, length 38.5 cm (folded in half). Braided body in silver lame with three silver-gilt sequin stars on each side. Width of the body 3.2 cm. Skirt composed of a twisted silver bullion wrapped around the body in three heights, height 1.7 cm. Fringed tassel with large silver twists, height 3.5 cm.

Good condition, oxidation on the cord.
NOTE:
The rank of captain is the highest rank in the King's Bodyguard companies, there were six from 1814 to 1820 and then four from 1820 onwards. This rank corresponds to Lieutenant General in the army (Major General).
