Barrel with short five-sided flared section, length 1 m 03, caliber 17.5 mm, dated "1811" and stamped with "GS" "D" in an octagon, "EF" and "L" in an oval. Marking on the breech "Mle an 9." Overall barrel length with breech 1 m 085. Wooden stock with cheek, brass nose cap with steel spring attachment, steel swivel attached by a spring placed between the two bands and resting on the lower band bearing the stamp of François Tisseron, controller from 1796 to 1815 in Charleville. Brass side plate and trigger guard. Flintlock mechanism model an IX signed "Mre Imple de Versailles." Steel butt plate. Steel ramrod.

Perfect condition, period swivel but probably replaced, bayonet in good condition with usual oxidation.
