All metal parts are made of steel except for the cap, trigger guard bow, and muzzle cap made of brass.
Octagonal barrel transitioning into round with a bead at the muzzle, flat percussion lock equipped with a hinged cap covering the vent which, once the hammer is cocked, must be pushed forward by hand for the shooter to fire. Lock plate signed with the manufacturer "Suhl" under a crown. Brass trigger guard bow with a slight finger rest, with regimental assignment, "7.6.6.U.32.69". Brass cap and movable steel ring.
Single-piece walnut stock with a steeply sloping shape.
