Made of cardboard covered with sky blue cloth, bordered on the top with 2.8 cm high galon woven in a Hungarian point called "lizard galon" in silver trimming; black varnished leather chinstrap; gilt brass hunting horn, H 3 cm, width 5 cm. White iron cockade stamped with a radiant sun, painted in the tricolor, on which is attached a square braid with double silver trim held by a smooth half-spherical gold button. On the sides, copper ventilation holes painted in the color of the background fabric.
Chinstrap with gilt brass chain doubled with black velvet; on the sides and back of the headdress, at the level of the galon and the varnished leathers, three gilded metal lion heads help secure the chinstrap; round-shaped visor, top made of black varnished leather rimmed with a folded gilt brass strip straddling the outer edge, visor width 5 cm; underside of visor in green waxed leather.
Interior cap made of gold-tooled black sheepskin cut into six wolf teeth with brass eyelets for a lace to pass through, interior of cap in ivory silk.
Spherical pompom of silver trimming with a thick cord for senior officers.
