With a postal address on the back "To Mr. Hoüanne Notary in Saumur / Dept of Maine Et Loire / via Angers to Saumur / Urgent".
Red ink postal stamp "28 BREST". Remnants of a red wax seal.
Continuing to seek money, Jean Brié specifies "in the port where he is, one must be clean, thus it costs .." [...] "we were about to depart when we set sail with twenty ships and five frigates where we went to Brest for about three days but the English were superior to us and besides, the winds changed, which forced us to return [...]"
