Dark blue wool hat, scarlet wool band, silver braid, tricolor silk cockade with silver loop and brass button; blue painted metal side vents.
Square visor in black waxed leather with green Morocco leather lining.
Scarlet waxed calf band with gold trim. Crown lined with violet silk printed in gold "MILITARY EQUIPMENT DENAMUR 26&28 RUE VIEILLE DU TEMPLE PARIS".
Interior hat made of straw weaving, without original lining, with a hot-stamped ochre leather label "Denamur (?) Bté SGDG" sewn on the straw, indicating the manufacturer's patent for this straw weaving.
Wooden lenticular pompon covered in scarlet wool with scarlet cord and the number "1" cut out in silver metal.

Good condition, minor tear on one braid, some wear to the band, worn interior hat, sun-faded and partially missing silk lining on the crown.
