In black taupe felt, with a rather high typical First Empire shape.
Height at the front of the felt portion 21 cm, Height at the front from the bottom of the horns 28 cm, Height of the rear felt portion 29 cm, Height of the rear portion from the bottom of the horns 35 cm. Width 40 cm.
Each horn is adorned with a silver tassel with soft fringes.
Tricolor woolen epaulet cockade, Ø 8.5 cm.
Gimp composed of a large silver bouillon twist wrapping around a small Ø 1.5 cm uniform button with a half bell in silver. In the center, the gimp is made up of a cord in silver threads.
Interior cap composed of a black waxed calf band, H 6 cm, and a fine ocher canvas cap.

Good condition, some moth holes, slight losses at the tips of the horns, two repairs on the back horn: one vertical of 23 cm high and the other horizontal of 16 cm.
