Cardboard body entirely covered with black waterproof canvas, with the regiment number painted in gold on the front. Black lacquered metal side vents. Round black varnished leather visor, green waxed underneath.
Interior cap composed of a black waxed calf band with gold iron gilding on the upper edge. Body lined with orange paper.
Pompon composed of four elements: scarlet wool thistle flame with a diameter of 45 mm, scarlet wool and scalloped small collar, wooden sphere covered in dark blue cloth with a brass cut-out "3" Ø 30 mm.

Very good condition, the shako cover and the gold-painted numbers are in perfect condition, missing the cord of the lower pompon.
