Gold lizard type galloon, height 2 cm. Black varnished leather chin strap and cap. Round visor, width 4 cm, black varnished and waxed green on the inside with folded leather strip on the outer edge.
Metal cockade stamped with a tricolor radiant sun, Ø 3.9 cm, attached to the body by means of a half-spherical gold button. Gold tassel. Front insignia in gilded brass in the shape of a flaming bomb, bomb height 5.3 cm, width 4.3 cm. Inner leather band waxed black and gold ironed on the upper part.
Pink silk inner cap, gold ironed "MICHEL SPIQUEL & Cie / PARIS / 164 Rue St Honoré. 75".
