Cast bronze buckle plaque, hand-chased and gilded, rectangular in shape, H 6.8 cm, W 8.2 cm without the curvature. A plaque of very high-quality chiseling, decorated in relief on a sandy background, featuring a single serpent coiled around a rod topped with the mirror of prudence framed by an oak branch and a laurel branch. The frame is composed of three prominent and smooth fillets each separated by a grooved sunken fillet. Complete with its hook and loop on the back.
