DUTCH BOARDING CUTLASS, Late 19th - Early 20th century. 33158

Iron hilt with four branches forming a shell. Handle with wooden grip scales riveted together by three brass rivets, front scale engraved with "5566." Slightly curved blade with hollow and grooved facets, ending in a fish tongue tip, length 62.5 cm, signed at the base "HEMBRUG" and stamped with a "W" topped by a crown. Brown leather scabbard with two brass fittings, brass guard, leather loop sewn at the top of the scabbard.
A more modern khaki canvas bayonet frog has been previously placed at the top of the scabbard.

Good condition, weapon never cleaned coming from a family, slight oxidation on the hilt, wear on the leather of the scabbard.

RETURN POLICY
Items can be returned within 8 days of receipt. They must be returned by registered mail at the sender's expense, in their original packaging, and in their original condition.
