Monobloc brass hilt with a single branch guard signed 'Versailles' and stamped with 'B' by Nicolas-Noël Boutet, manufacturer from 1800 to 1818. Handle with 28 strands. Slightly curved flat blade, 59 cm long, signed on the back 'Manufre Impale du Klingenthal March 1813' and stamped with 'K' under a star by inspector J.I. Krantz, March 1812-August 1814, 'L' by Lobstein, inspector from June 1804 to July 1821, 'B' within a laurel wreath stamp used from 1812 to May 1815 by J.G. Bick, first class controller. Black varnished leather scabbard with two brass fittings, button chape.

Poor condition, blade oxidized, tip of the blade damaged, chape lost its button, scabbard end crushed at the cusp, varnish of the scabbard chipped.
