POWDER HORN OF HUNTERS, PROBABLY FROM NORTH AMERICA, Late 19th century. 32721
Entirely engraved in horn: horse head, fish, hunting dagger, stars, wader bird, flower bouquets, bovine head, initials AS, bell, Catholic cross, bird on a branch, and a tepee. Engraved with the date "16-1-1877". Brass token decorated in relief with a four-masted ship, attached to the horn with rivets.
Finished with two large brass fittings.
Length 52 cm, max. Ø approximately 9.4 cm.
North America (probably).
Late 19th century.
