OFFICER BELT PLAQUE OF THE GRENADIERS OR FOOT HUNTERS OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, model 1804, late 19th-century reproduction. 32582
Made of cast and gilded bronze, rectangular in shape with rounded edges on both sides, height 6.8 cm, width without the curvature 8.6 cm. Molded in its center is the crowned imperial eagle with outstretched wings, holding in its talons Jupiter's thunderbolt, in the middle of which hangs a Legion of Honor. The eagle is surrounded by an oak and laurel branch, with the plaque framed by a raised molding.
Complete with its belt loop on the back with a buckle and hook.

Good condition, minor unrepaired cracks in the chasing.
