Silver-plated metal plate stamped with the crowned imperial eagle holding in its talons Jupiter's thunderbolt resting on a shield stamped at the bottom with an oak branch and a laurel branch, and on each side with a lion's head; the center of the shield is adorned with the numeral "9" in applied metal. Plate height 13.5 cm x 11.3 cm. It is framed under glass, accompanied by a scarlet cord, a scarlet cloth shoulder strap covered with a woven silver "cul de dé" braid, and a tricolor cockade approximately 7 cm in diameter. Waxed wood frame, height 24.3 cm x 18 cm.
