1 - Autographed letter addressed by Auguste Bigarré to Prince Alexandre, Minister of War, following his failure at the Battle of Austerlitz. He requests the opportunity to take his revenge in the upcoming campaign.
"Strasbourg, July 24, 1806.
Your Highness,
How much I would be obliged to Your Serene Highness if, taking into consideration the misfortune I had in not defeating the Enemy on the day of the Battle of Austerlitz, you would allow me to have my revenge in the new campaign that is about to begin, and to prove to you that one can be unlucky without being guilty.
Please accept, Your Highness, the homage of the deepest respect with which I have the honor to be, of Your Serene Highness,

- On the front, two marginal notes: "he requests to be actively employed if the campaign resumes". "Mr. Tabarié, to report to the Emperor by Tuesday, August 5".
- On the back, a handwritten note by A. Bigarré at the bottom of the page "Nota. I have the honor to observe to Your Highness, that there are two battalion chiefs at the regiment's depot, one of whom has consistently been in charge of the administrative part". In the margin, a handwritten response is made to this note "Give orders for one of the battalion chiefs to join the war battalion".
