Iron hilt, seven-branch guard, cap with a short tail, wooden handle covered with black celluloid featuring ten flutes and an ergonomic grip for the index finger. Straight blade measuring 89.5 cm in length signed on the back "Manufacture d'Armes de Châtellerault JH." Coat of arms of Chile on the ricasso. Natural leather knot. Steel scabbard with one suspension ring and a movable ring.
