Biography:
* Nicolas Charles Stanislas Louis Marie de Nompère de Champagny, born on September 6, 1789, in Cayenne, French Guiana, and died on May 4, 1863, at the Château de Kerduel (Pleumeur-Bodou), was a French military officer and politician.
He held the rank of brigadier general, was an undersecretary of state, director general of personnel in the Department of War, and a deputy representing the Loire region in the Chamber of Deputies.
