BIOGRAPHY:
Georges Scott, also known as Scott de Plagnolle, born Georges Bertin Scott de Plagnolle on June 10, 1873 in Paris and died on January 10, 1943 in the same city[1], was a French painter and illustrator.
Sometimes signing his compositions as Bertin, he is known particularly for his drawings of the First World War published in L'Illustration, a journal to which he contributed for forty-seven years.
