They are embroidered with twists and gold sequins. The body is embroidered with a design depicting a V-shaped braid bordering a scalloped edge on dark blue, almost black woolen cloth; its shield is decorated with a scalloped edge, adorned with three silver stars. The fringes are large matte twists. The outline consists of three turnings: one large and two smaller ones. Inner reinforcement at the fringe level with cardboard lined with yellow silk.
1830 uniform button (gilt bronze and matte, stamped and raised with a trophy formed by flags and a shield stamped with the Gallic rooster), attached to the top of the epaulette body, a strong clasp is placed below, at the corresponding part (this clasp fits into a small pouch sewn on the uniform).
Transport box made of cardboard covered with scarlet paper of the period but not original to the item.

NOTE:
The title of lieutenant-general was reintroduced in place of "divisional general," and of marshal of camp in place of "brigade general" during the Restoration and July Monarchy, and disappeared definitively in 1848.
