Gilt brass hilt. Guard with three branches decorated with laurel leaves. Cap with a short tail. Horn handle, copper wire filigree. Curved blade with hollow facets, length 91.3 cm, signed on the back "Mre Impale de Châtt 8bre 1868 = Cavrie lre mle 1822". Steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
Black leather and silk sword knot for field use.
Black varnished leather belt with gilt brass buckle for dress uniform.

Good condition, small chip on the upper part of the handle, some oxidations on the scabbard.
