Silver star with five double-pointed rays buttoned at the tips, enameled in white, topped with a crown. Star surrounded by oak and laurel leaves enameled in light green.
Obverse center in gold representing the profile of the crowned head of the Emperor against a radiant sun background, left-facing profile, encircled by a blue enamel ring inscribed in gold letters: "NAPOLEON EMPEROR OF THE FRENCH".
Reverse center showing the Imperial Eagle, right-facing head, on a field of Azure, surrounded by a blue enamel ring with the gold motto: "HONOUR AND COUNTRY".
Star topped with a crown, independent and surmounted by a small ball crossed by a smooth suspension ring, topped with a small cross with eight petals and eight arches. Small green and scarlet enamels adorn the base of the crown. The crown has a hook inside to be threaded through the suspension ball of the easel located between the two upper branches of the cross.
Hallmark on the ribbon binding the laurel branches.
