* Jacques-François de MENOU, Baron of Boussay, known as Abdallah de Menou, born on September 3, 1750 in Boussay, Indre-et-Loire, and died on August 13, 1810 near Mestre, was a French general of the Revolution and the Empire.
After the assassination of General Kléber, Menou succeeded him at the head of the Army of Egypt as the Chief General.
