* Antoine Denniée (born January 17, 1754 in Versailles and died April 19, 1828 in Paris) was a general intendant of the King's Military Household and one of the best-known inspectors at reviews during the Empire.
General Bonaparte appointed him Chief Ordonnateur of the Army of Italy on May 31, 1796. He later became an inspector at reviews with the rank of brigadier general on February 7, 1800. He was then appointed to the Ministry of War as the Secretary General of the Ministry. When Marshal Berthier was away with the Emperor's armies, Napoleon even entrusted him with the management of the ministry. In March 1808, he was appointed general intendant of the French armies in Spain. Tired, he was forced to return to France for treatment in 1811. He became a baron of the Empire in 1812. Napoleon was preparing for the invasion of Russia and ordered that when Denniée resumed his duties, he would also be entrusted with special oversight of the administrative operations of the armies in Spain.
