Certificate of good conduct issued to Nicolas RAIMBAULT, sergeant of the Voltigeurs of the 3rd Battalion of the 62nd Infantry Regiment, in the said regiment from the 4th Germinal year 8 (March 25, 1800) until December 1, 1806.
Round stamp in red ink "ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL" with the eagle with spread wings resting on a pedestal marked "52", following the model of the 1804 flag eagles.
"Made in Ferrara (Italy) on November 30, 1806".
Followed by five signatures including "Grobon".
H 23.7 cm x 35.6 cm.
Good condition, folds.
*Pierre André Grobon, born on January 6, 1767 in Saint-Méen in Ille-et-Vilaine and died on June 7, 1815 in Les Sables d'Olonne, was a French general of the Revolution and the Empire.
