Colonel Victor Vautré mentions the soldier Eugène BOUCHER, a sub-lieutenant in the 9th line infantry regiment. This soldier was supposed to join the combat battalions after his time at the depot in March 1809, but never made it there. It is certain that he was murdered by peasants from "Styria". His death certificate did not arrive. A document confirming this certainty was sent to Madame Boucher.
As a result, to fill this vacancy, Colonel Vautré requests the appointment of Sub-Lieutenant Norgeot to this position.
