Absolute leave issued to Victor MARIN, drum major, born in Meaux in 1774, aged 30 years "who has served with honor and probity from April 8, 1789 until today".
Done in Toulon on 23 Messidor year 12 (July 12, 1804).
On the back, handwritten notes: soldier's description and registration at the general commissioner's office.
H 21.5 cm x 29 cm.
Fair condition, folds, stains, small tears with a repair on the back with tape.
