Two black ink stamps, difficult to read.
Letterhead: "Mayence Army - 5th Military Division" "62nd Line Infantry Half-Brigade".
Unconditional leave granted to Louis FERÉ, rifleman of the 3rd Company of the 1st Battalion, born in Magny, Vienne department, due to his injuries. Aged 27.
Done at Strasbourg, on the first day of the month of Fructidor in the sixth year of the French Republic, one and indivisible.
On the back, a copy of the medical certificate, with black ink stamp "62nd INFANTRY HALF-BRIGADE".
Soldier Feré has large scars on his right forearm. Done in Strasbourg on 26 Thermidor year 6 (August 13, 1798).
Dimensions: 22 cm x 30.5 cm.
