Handwritten note "The aforementioned served in the said Regiment from February 24, one thousand seven hundred sixty-eight until this day (...) without entering into any marriage commitment known to us."
Dimensions 21.5 cm x 28.7 cm.
Fair condition, folds with tears, damp stains, frayed edges, repair with a paper glued on the back. Text in very good condition.
HISTORICAL:
The Queen's Regiment is an infantry regiment of the Kingdom of France, created in 1634 under the name "regiment de Boyons." Renamed during the Revolution as the 41st line infantry regiment.
