The absolute leave is granted to Jean BERNET, known as "La Girofflée", rifleman of the Company of Saint Jean in the Boulonnois Regiment, born in Bourges, province of Berry. Aged 24 years.
Done at Bonifacio on March 23, 1775.
H 21.2 cm x 28 cm.
In fairly good condition, creases, small tears along the edges. The document has been affixed to a stronger paper.

The Boulonnais Regiment, also known as the Boulonnois Regiment, is an infantry regiment of the Kingdom of France created in 1684, which became the 79th Line Infantry Regiment during the Revolution.
September 5, 1684: creation of the Boulonnais Regiment, named after the province
January 1, 1791: renamed as the 79th Line Infantry Regiment
