Brass hilt. Four-branch guard, marked "1638", signed "VERSAILLES". Cap with short tail. Wooden handle covered in calf leather with filigree brass, brass ferrule. Straight blade with double hollow sides, length 95.6 cm, marked below with a "B" surmounted by a star of controller P. BICK (December 1813 - September 1818), "B" in a laurel wreath of inspector J.J.C. Bureau, February 1819-March 1822 and "L" from reviewer F.L. Lobstein, 1813 to July 1821. Signed on the back of the blade "Manufactured at Klingenthal royal factory January 1815". Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with two strap bands.
