SILVER EMBROIDERED WHITE WAISTCOAT, Consulate Era. 32221
Waistcoat entirely made of white cotton twill with collar, pockets, and edges embroidered with a design of foliage framed on each side by a net of silver threads. The waistcoat fastens straight at the front using five buttonholes and silver-embroidered white buttons, with two additional buttons at the upper part (not corresponding to buttonholes); at the lower part, two horizontal pockets are present, each 15cm wide, similarly adorned to the waistcoat's edge. The front of the waistcoat is embroidered with a scatter of flowers. The back of the waistcoat is made of fine white canvas, fastening with laces. The front section is lined with a fine white cotton canvas.
