Silver-plated hilt. Straight crossguard with engraved knot featuring a flower and foliage. Horizontal shield-shaped guard embellished with a stylized palmette and oak and laurel branches. Octagonal guard branch with an oval lens engraved with a flower at its center, upper part of the guard branch connecting to the pommel engraved with laurel branches. Trifoliate-shaped pommel engraved with a stylized palmette. Decorated ferrules. Four-sided ebony handle with edges adorned with a silver rod, front and back faces checkered, lateral faces decorated with vertical lines. Two-sided blade with a central ridge, 64 cm long, engraved on its first third with military and floral trophies, gilded at the base. Scarlet cloth tie. Black waxed calf leather scabbard with two silver-plated fittings adorned with lines, edges scalloped, chape with suspension ring and button for wearing on the belt. End of the scabbard engraved with laurel leaves ending in a trifoliate point.
