Name written in black ink "JAILLAR" (or Gaillar).

Total height of the coat 125 cm. Length of the sleeves 66 cm.

France.
Second Empire.
Good to very good condition, some moth holes and repairs mainly at the back, period repair with a patch (height 10 cm x 16 cm) on the coat at the level of the right arm.
Note: given the rarity and type of garment effect, we can consider this coat to be in very good condition.

NOTE:
This coat model has hardly changed since 1828. In 1845, the length of the round was increased by 40 mm; vertical pocket tabs close with one button instead of two, and a sixth buttonhole is made on each front, in order to fasten the coat tails to the pocket buttons when the man is on foot.
