1 - Discharge certificate issued on March 10, 1813. Beautiful vignette.
In the name of LULX Philogène Delamotte, soldier in the regiment of Chasseurs à cheval of the Guard, 10th company, 5th squadron, born in Epaigne, department of Eure. Registration number 1152, enlisted on May 21, 1805 in the 16th Dragoons, transferred to the Chasseurs à cheval of the Guard on October 8, 1810. Participated in 7 campaigns.
On the back, a medical certificate dated October 19, 1812: "Mr. LULX has lost the index and middle fingers and the use of the ring finger of his right hand due to a pistol shot that exploded in his hand."
Dimensions: 21.8 cm x 32.7 cm (dimensions up to the framing border).
Poor condition, folds, tears with some missing parts (outside the text).

"Chevalier Bellevaux, chief of squadron, officer of the Legion of Honor, certifies that Mr. CHOLLET Louis-Léonard, vélite Chasseur à cheval of the Guard, was appointed second lieutenant in the 23rd regiment of Chasseurs à cheval by decree of March 13, 1813."

Record of services, campaigns, and injuries of Mr. Pierre CAYRE, major of the line, former Squadron leader in that Corps. Born in St. Chamaran, department of Lot, on February 20, 1775.
Enlisted in 1792 in the 22nd regiment of Chasseurs à cheval, officer of the Legion of Honor on April 14, 1813. Campaigns: Eastern Pyrenees, Italy, Army of the Orient, Grande Armée, Spain, Germany, and in 1814 internally. Wounded by several gunshots and a saber strike.
