STRONG CAVALRY SWORD OF THE WALLONNE AND DRAGOONS, Ancient Monarchy, circa 1695. 32173
Iron mount. Multi-branch guard with two main branches screwed to the pommel. Thumb ring, double-bridged hilt with pierced grille, cross guard. Handle made of wood entirely filigreed with braided steel wires. Steel pommel. Straight blade, 88.5 cm long with a central groove on its first third, engraved with the Passau wolf on each side, stamped at the base and marked "1414" on one side. Black varnished leather scabbard with two steel fittings and a hook chape for wearing on the belt.
